Itinerary
Airport Ferry Terminal
If you're staying at a property in Malé City, the Airport Ferry Terminal is easy to find and conveniently located on the northern waterfront of the island. Just head towards Boduthakurufaanu Magu, one of the main roads running along the northern coast. The terminal is directly opposite Maagiri Hotel, a well-known landmark that's easy to spot. You’ll see signs for "Airport Ferry" or "MTCC Jetty", and the area is typically active with ferries arriving and departing. If you're unsure, any local or hotel staff will happily point you in the right direction.
Maafushi
The journey to Maafushi Island takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour aboard a traditional Maldivian dhoani, offering scenic views of the South Malé Atoll along the way. Once you arrive, your guide will lead you on an insightful island tour, sharing the rich history of Maafushi, its role in pioneering local tourism, and the daily life and culture of its residents. After the tour, enjoy some free time to relax on the beach, soak up the sun, or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.
Biyadhoo House Reef
Just 15 minutes after departing from Maafushi, you'll arrive at the stunning Biyadhoo House Reef, one of the most vibrant snorkeling spots in South Malé Atoll. Here, you’ll dive into crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful coral formations and a rich variety of marine life, from reef fish to curious sea creatures. It’s the perfect underwater adventure to experience the natural beauty of the Maldives' coral reefs.
Gulhi
After a scenic 30-minute cruise from Biyadhoo House Reef, you’ll arrive at the charming island of Gulhi. Upon arrival, join your guide for a delicious local Maldivian lunch, giving you a taste of authentic island flavors. After your meal, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the vibrant, colorful streets of this small yet lively island, soaking in the sights, friendly atmosphere, and laid-back island life. With the island being easily walkable, your guided tour will cover Gulhi in about 15 minutes, ending at its stunning white-sand beach, where you can unwind, take in the view, or enjoy a final dip in the turquoise waters before heading back.
